Meet Coach B

Barenda Brown
FOUNDER & CEO
Marriage & Relationship Coach | Certified SYMBIS Facilitator
From Survival to Purpose
Before I becoming Coach B, I was a single mother raising four children, serving in the military, building a career, and navigating my own seasons of growth and change.
Those experiences, combined with my education and professional training, shaped the away I work with couples today.
I believe strong marriages are not built by perfect people. They are built by two people willing to understand each other, communicate differently, repair when things go wrong, and continue choosing their relationship intentionally.
That belief is at the heart of GDMJ LifeStyle & Growth Coaching.
Why I Do This Work
With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Human Health Services - Life Coaching, and certified as a SYMBIS Facilitator. I have spent years studying people, communication, relationships, and personal growth.
But life has taught me something just as important:
Two people can love each other deeply and still struggle to understand each other.
That does not automatically mean the marriage is broken. Sometimes the couple needs bretter tools, a different conversation, and a clearer understanding of the patterns keeping them stuck.
That is where I come in.
My Approach
My coaching is practical, direct, and judgment-free.
I help couples identify repetitive communication patterns, navigate conflict differently, rebuild connection, and feel like a team again.
Through The Marriage Audit™, SYMBI, and practical communication tools, we focus on changes couples can actually use in their everyday marriage.
I am not here to choose sides or decide who is right.
I am here to help you understand each other better and change what is no longer working.
Beyond the Credentials
I am a wife, mother, grandmother, retired military professional, entrepreneur, and Founder & CEO of GDMJ Solutions LLC.
My life and career have taken me through many different seasons, but they have consistently taught me the value of communication, responsibility, resilience, and intentional growth.
Today, I bring those lessons into my work with couples—and one message remains at the center of everything I do:
You do not have to wait until your marriage is falling apart to start working on it.
Strong marriages deserve attention, too.
Ready to Strengthen Your Marriage?
Whether you are stuck in the same arguments, feeling disconnected, navigating a new season, or simply want to strengthen an already-good marriage, start with a conversation.
A better marriage is not built on one decision—it is built on the small choices you make every day to grow, heal, connect, and believe that more is possible.

Grow with Purpose. Connect with Confidence.
